Countdown to Worship for December 12th

What’s happening at Hillcrest these days?  We have Wednesday morning Bible study at 11.  All Sunday morning Bible study classes meet on site.  In addition to in-person worship, Facebook is an option: Facebook.com/hillcrestbaptisthanover.  

What else is happening?  Big news:   After over  a year and a half of planning, the time has finally arrived to build a new sanctuary.  We are excited about this tremendous blessing God has given us and we are excited for our future as a church that will demonstrate its vision: Hillcrest, A Place for All People.  If all goes well, we anticipate being in the new sanctuary in January 2022.  In addition to the new sanctuary, our children’s wing is now updated.  And our atrium is also on our list for updating.

As we continue to do the necessary work to get things underway with the new sanctuary project and overall facility, we are also busy getting ready for ministry.  For example, we are planning focused outreach to our community and we are retooling our children’s ministry (K-5) to make it as effective and engaging as possible for children and their parents.  This ministry is a priority for us.  Furthermore, in all that we will do to bring honor and glory to God, we will give our best, a 110 percent.  We invite you to be a part of an exciting journey forward for Jesus Christ at Hillcrest.  Hillcrest indeed is: A Place for All People!!!
